### **Basic Content**

**Title**: this is the name of the activity shown to students.

* Use a **clear and descriptive title** to communicate the purpose of the task\

  Example: *“Understanding Climate Change: Causes and Connections”*

**Instructions / Description**

This section allows you to provide **guidance to students**.

* Explain **what the activity is about**
* **Provide step-by-step instructions** on how to contribute
* Clarify **expectations** (e.g. adding ideas, linking concepts, collaborating)

## Advanced Settings <a href="#advanced-settings" id="advanced-settings"></a>

#### Enable Collaborative Editing

* **ON**:
  * **Students work together on a shared mindmap**
  * All participants can **add, edit, and connect ideas collaboratively**
* **OFF**:
  * Each student creates their **own individual mindmap**

💡 Use collaborative mode for Problem Based Learning, Team-Based Learning and idea sharing.

#### Gallery Walk

Allows teams to **view other teams’ mindmaps** after they complete theirs

* Students in teams can:
  * **Review peer work**
  * **Provide feedback**
  * **Rate contributions**

This promotes:

* **Inter-team discussion**
* **Higher-order thinking**
* **Peer learning and reflection**

#### Lock when finished

* **ON**:
  * Once students complete the activity, they **can no longer edit the mindmap**
* **OFF**:
  * Students can **return and continue editing**
