# Student view

Students are able to see the spreadsheet title and instructions set by the teacher.

Students need to fill the spreadsheet with their answers and on saving the result, their answers will be submitted to teachers for marking -if these is the configuration you set when creating the activity (see [Spreadsheet modes](/lams/tools/spreadsheet/create.md#spreadsheet-modes)).

### View marks and comments

After the student submits the spreadsheet for marking, the teacher will be able to assign a score/mark might include comments. 

The student will be able to see these once the teacher release the marks (see release marks in thee Monitor section next).
