# Student view

When students land on the submit files page, they are able to see the title and assignment instructions as set by the teacher. 

Additionally, if any file upload restrictions were set, these will be displayed (see [Advanced settings](/lams/tools/submit-files/create.md#advanced-settings)).

Finally, an are for the students to their assignement files.

### Submitting an file or assignment

To submit an assignement, students just have to drop the file in the upload files area, add a description to the file or files and click the `Add` button to submit.
